Lagarta Lodge is situated amidst untouched nature on Costa Rica’s Nicoya peninsula. The adjacent nature reserve Reserva Biológica offers guests the opportunity to become acquainted with native plants and animals.
The incomparable beauty and diversity of the surroundings are truly magical.
As our guest, you may join a guided tour or have free access to the well-marked paths. The mornings offer especially good opportunities to make exciting sightings on this roughly two-hour walk: there are numerous birds, howler monkeys, anteaters, coatis, raccoons, iguanas, butterflies, and insects. Guests will enjoy the reserve's biodiversity and unique subtropical dry forest. Or take a tour with an electric boat on the Rio Nosara and Rio Montaña to discover the incomparable beauty of Costa Rica. If you’re lucky, you may even see a crocodile!
